the case of Brian Hogan, Jr as well. Brian was assaulted July 19, 2009 in an unprovoked attack. He sustained a severe brain injury that left him blind and paralyzed on his left side. After three months in intensive care and seven months in rehabilitation, he was able to move back to Ireland and lives at Beech Lodge, a rehabilitation facility in Bruree, near his parents’ home in Limerick. Brian is seeking treatments that might lead to the eventual restoration of his vision.
